Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files placed on your computer, phone or tablet as you browse. They help the website remember your device — keeping your basket working, tailoring the products shown to you, and helping us understand how the site is used. Some cookies are set by third parties who participate in our marketing programmes or display advertising on our behalf.

The cookies we use

Managing cookies

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the banner when you first visit, change your choice at any time via the cookie settings link in the site footer, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings — see your browser’s help pages for instructions. If you disable all cookies, the site will still browse but you won’t be able to complete a purchase.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour patterns — for example, visitor numbers to different parts of the site. This information is processed in a way that does not identify anyone, and we do not allow Google to attempt to identify our visitors. See the Google Privacy Policy.

Mailing lists

If you sign up to our e-newsletter, we use your details to send you the updates you asked for, to contact you if we need further information, and to check our records are accurate. We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver the newsletter, and gather open and click statistics using industry-standard technologies to improve it — see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email, or by emailing shop@bathroomsuk.com.

Sharing your data

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share it only with the service providers who help us fulfil your order — couriers who deliver your goods, payment processors, and the platforms described above — and only what they need to do their job.

Your rights

You are entitled to view, amend or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Email your request to shop@bathroomsuk.com and we’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
